Date Announcement Campaign
One of the biggest marketing beats I was tasked with was creating a trailer to announce the launch date of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. This followed a year long hype campaign that has used every trick in the book, and I was tasked with creating something that broke the mold.
To do so, myself and the talent team at Altered FX aimed to create a mood piece that placed the viewer in the roll of the protagonist. With no operators or action we wanted to tell the story of Verdansk awakening like a sleeping giant after its long hiatus. This reached a climax as the giant bay windows opened revealing familiar points of interest and the date display locking in the date. The communities reaction was inspiring.

Social Campaign
Using the social trend “pause game” we created three assets that showed the ticking date display. In a single frame of each video were two words. “You Are” “Now Entering” and “The Warzone”. When screenshot and placed together the three clues revealed the date the game would launch
